HOW TO STAY IN STYLE AND SPEND LESS

We will introduce to you 5 key trends and pieces to re-use in spring 2014. It might sound premature to be thinking about the key trends for spring/summer 2014, especially with the worst of the bad weather still to come. But it’s no secret that fashion moves quickly and, with all its frivolity, there’s nothing worse than finding yourself investing in a trend, only to fall out of love with it six months later. To make your life easier and your investment efficient, we will reveal for you which are those pieces that you can still keep in your wardrobe “front row†because you will surely love and use them a lot in the new spring/summer season.
Pastel
Among a sea of neutrals, pastels made a surprise appearance at the shows this season thanks to the likes of Céline, Rochas and so many others. But where pink emerged as the favorite, sorbet tones such as lemon, mint and peach are hot on the agenda for spring, too. It’s definitely worth investing in them right now as it continues to be a huge trend.
Floral
Floral print is not going away! We've seen it in show for next season and also for autumn/winter, so keep all the floral-pint dresses or pencil skirts or floral cigarette pants you bought last summer, cause you will definitely rock. If you missed it, you have a good chance now, with our last collection sale here.
Laid-back
If you’re enjoying the laid-back mood in fashion right now, fear not: it’s sticking around. Designers have turned to sportswear-inspired pieces with a relaxed feel in a big way. Think mostly faded, ripped jeans and logo tees. It’s an off-duty cool that feels very modern and will be very relevant in spring/summer. Stay tuned for our up-coming logo-tees collection or take advantage of our last season discounted offer here.
Skirts and pleats
The skirt is a hero piece this season and the pleated style has emerged as one of the most popular in designers collections. We’ve seen it a lot in Chanel AW13, we liked Christopher Kane satin skirt and Erdem floral printed skirt. Wear them with tights to carry the style though from winter to spring.
The white shirt
The penchant for bold colors and statement prints of seasons past gave way to neutral colors and simple shapes this season. According to Net-A-Porter buying manager Ben Matthews, the white shirt is an all-time wardrobe essential. ‘Menswear style tailoring has been present this season but will be worn in a much more relaxed way for spring/summer 2014,’ he says. Wear your white shirt now with leather pants and switch to a short or midi-length pleated skirt for the warmer months, as well as any type of shorts or denim.
